East Heights’ Mission Day at GIVING THE BASICS WICHITA - Monday, Aug. 9, from 1-2:30 p.m. Volunteer to help! 

Beginning with Vacation Bible School and ending with the Block Party, East Heights hosted a Dignity Drive to collect personal hygiene items and money for the Giving the Basics Wichita. The Monday after the Block party, East Heights volunteers will be at the Giving the Basics warehouse sorting and counting hygiene items the church has collected, and filling orders for schools and organizations serving those in need. Attire: comfortable work clothes (your East Heights shirt will be perfect) and closed toed shoes (required.)
