At the request of the school principal, Ms. Evens, East Heights is on a mission to plant beautiful flowers (mainly perennials) around Jefferson Elementary School on Saturday, September 23rd from 8a.m. to 12p.m.! We are excited to make this an entire church mission. Young gardeners can play on the playground equipment when they need a break. We are looking for experienced gardeners to donate perennial flowers they no longer need, as well as help give direction on where things should be planted. If you have flowers to donate or would like to be on the planning team, please contact Kathy Lefler at lefler74@msn.com . Dion and Kathy Lefler will be the team leaders on the day of the event. Please bring your favorite gardening tools!
