Justice Together: East Heights will be hosting 3 upcoming meetings for the multifaith justice initiative, Justice Together. There are two committees, one studying homelessness and one studying mental health in our community. You may join meetings at any time during the process. Here are the upcoming meetings at East Heights: Monday, January 8th, 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. the mental health committee is hosting a meeting with Sheriff Jeff Easter. There will be two moderators asking questions that the committee chose at a previous meeting. Tuesday, January 9th: will have two meetings 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. the mental health committee will meet with Abbey Cotter, Director of Behavioral Health at Via Christi, St. Joseph. 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. will be both the mental health and homelessness Research Committees meeting to update everyone on what has happened so far.
