Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of a season in the life of the church that is set aside as a time for reflection on our lives and our faith. Early Christians observed with great commitment the days leading up to Jesus’ death and resurrection, and it was the custom of the Church that before the celebration of Easter that there would be a forty-day period of spiritual preparation that we now call Lent. You are invited to join us as we begin the season of Lent with our Ash Wednesday Worship Service, March 2nd at 7pm in the sanctuary.
