A Thrive Community is a non-profit organization hosted by EHUMC that provides weekly meals, childcare, education programs and life planning exercises aimed at moving low income Wichita families from poverty level income to middle class income levels. The group will host a fundraising sale of home items on Saturday, August 24 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the home of the organization’s Program Director, Patricia Hileman, located at 139 S. Fountain, Wichita, 67218. The sale will feature items donated by Traditions Home store and barbeque food items including pulled pork, ribs, baked beans, etc. for consumption on site or to carry out.
